Exhibits

Explore our temporary anniversary, “Give Me Liberty: Virginia & the Forging of a Nation” to learn more about the role that Virginians played in the American Revolution. All other exhibits are also open to visitors.

Crafts & Stories

Read stories and complete crafts that connect to our exhibitions! Try your hand at making a tricorn hat & rosette cockade, your very own ball & cup game, and even design your own stamp after learning more about the Stamp Act in the exhibit upstairs.  Please Note - Crafts are first come, first served and may run out towards the end of the day.

Living History Interpreter

Chat with a living history interpreter about what life was like for a soldier during the mid-1700s!

Hands-On Stations

Stop by and touch our replica artifacts to learn about popular 18th century games, as well as smell popular examples of herbs & spices that would have been used by soldiers for medicinal remedies. Please Note: these stations will end at 2:00.
