Join us for a night of global food and fun!

About the Event:

• Sample light bites highlighting global cuisine:
  • Indian from Anokha Cuisine of India
  • Mexican from Big Chile
  • Japanese from Fighting Fish
  • Plus, a selection of wine and beer
• Learn about and play games from around the world
  • Community partners will guide you through beloved games from around the world, including sharing the stories and traditions behind each one. After learning the ropes, you’ll have time to mingle and test your skills. 
    • Local artist, Ruchi Gupta, will present the game of pachisi, explaining some of its ancient roots
    • Members from the Latine Student Association at VCU will introduce lotería
    • Mayumi Nakamura Maclauchlan, Director of the Office of International Education at Randolph Macon College, will be introducing the daruma otoshi game
• Event runs from 6-8 pm
